Sakura the Art of Movement

Teaching martial arts and internal arts disciplines: Kung-Fu and TaïChi QiGong Chinese Yoga. Age requirement: 13 years. Long chuan Kung Fu - human fulfillment through dragon boxing - is an art that combines traditional Japanese combat forms with the Chinese martial heritage from which they originate. Respecting this cultural heritage, Sakura l'Art du Mouvement® transmits Long chuan Kung Fu® in its traditional forms of percussion (fists, feet, elbows, knees...), seizures and immobilizations, through the study of the training methods of the Masters of yesterday. Chinese TaïChi QiGong Yoga: first practiced 2,500 BC, Chinese yoga is the result of careful observation of the laws of nature and is commonly referred to as "gymnastics for longevity and health". Its earliest writings can be found in the first medical treatise on acupuncture, dating from the 5th century BC. This Taoist legacy of body art, known today under a variety of names, offers an original method of linking body and mind, a source of balance, health and harmony. Elaborated in a gestural form, it combines slow, harmonious movement (Tai Ji Quan or Tai Chi Chuan), various breathing techniques, awareness and visualization exercises and grounding postures to develop inner listening and feel the Qi (chi, energy) awaken and circulate in the body (Kiko or Qi Gong). Monday at 6:30 pm: Asian Qigong and Muscle Strengthening in Passeirier. Thursday at 6:45 pm: Tai Chi Qigong at the Gymnase du Pays Rochois in St Pierre en Faucigny. Friday at 9:00 am: Tai Chi Qigong in Passeirier. Friday at 6:15 pm: Long Chuan Kung Fu (adults and teens ages 14 and up) at the Gymnase du Pays Rochois in St Pierre en Faucigny.
