La Roche - Candelo Twinning Committee
Candelo, an Italian town on the outskirts of Valle d'Aosta, has reconnected La Roche's large Italian community with its roots.
The number and variety of exchanges are a reminder of the long-standing relationship between the two sides of the Alps. The 120 members of the La Roche twinning committee regularly travel to Italy to take part in various events. And conversely, we often welcome our Italian friends, who also take part in our town's activities (Soup Festival, concerts....). There are exchanges between cultural associations, sports clubs and schools in both towns. It's these exchanges that keep this beautiful twinning alive.
